Miriam Turlington serves as Program Assistant at the Center for Stabilization and Reconstruction Studies.
As Program Assistant, she provides administrative and organizational support to the staff and helps
with event planning and logistics.
Born and raised in Prague, Miriam earned her Masters in Agriculture Science at the Czech
University of Agriculture, where she specialized in Organic Agriculture and Plant Production/Biological
Pest Management as part of the first program in the former Communist system to offer such studies.
Miriam spent several years as a commercial manager for a Czech fruit and vegetable importer as well as
serving as a consultant/foreign liaison to an organic growers union for which she handled grant applications,
promoted exhibitions and oversaw marketing of new products. Miriam also has extensive experience in the travel
and promotional industries organizing workshops and seminars.
Miriam speaks Czech, Slovak, German, Russian and English.
