INITIATIVES FOR NPS FACULTY AND STUDENTS
NPS Faculty Development Initiative: This initiative is designed to enhance
NPS faculty members' expertise on S&R issues, help faculty to develop their professional
network within the S&R field, equip faculty members to compete for future S&R-related
research projects, and prepare faculty members to contribute to CSRS educational events.
The program provides funding grants for faculty labor and travel to facilitate
participation in S&R fact-finding trips, attendance in workshops and conferences,
and conduct small-scale research projects, etc.
- All resources for FY08 for this program have been expended. We anticipate new
funding will be available for this program beginning in October 2008.
NPS Graduate Student Support: This program is designed to provide
financial support to current NPS graduate students to conduct research or participate
in otherwise unfunded educational events.
